Creative labs have a history of turning out great MP3 players, and the Zen V is no exception.

The Creative Zen V is a 1 GB, flash MP3 player, mid-priced at around $85 on the market.
It is the same as the Zen V Plus except without an FM radio or video playback.

According to the manufacturer this player will last approximately 15 hours between charges; run-time will vary based on use and power management configuration. Flash players like this are ideal for people who use their players in more active listening environments.

Pros and Cons:
It offers a pocket-friendly design and the vivid OLED display is viewable from any angle. The player packs nice features, such as voice and line-in recording, photo playback, and compatibility with subscription WMA tracks.

The joystick is really small and has a cheap feel to it. The screen is difficult to see in bright sunlight, and there is no UMS support. You do not get the FM radio and video playback found on the Plus version.
